TEEN MISS CROWN & GLORY UK
CHARLOTTE

Welcome to the interview of our miss Crown & Glory UK Charlotte.

Want to know what it has taken to be a C&G UK title holder from the perspective of the queen herself?

Charlotte has taken the time to give us an interview of her many years as a Crown & Glory queen.

Charlotte from South England was crowned Teen Miss Crown & Glory UK back in August 2019

Charlotte has been our queen since 2019 and has stayed with us after her title ended in 2020. Charlotte chose to continue being our queen until August 2022 and we are so grateful and lucky to have her as part of the family

Charlotte has come on so much since we first met her in 2019. A new contestant and to pageants, when Charlotte won she had less confidence than she does not but wow that girl is talented. She has a beautiful heart, a wonderful supportive mother and a beautiful singing voice. We are proud of what she has achieved since becoming a queen and the lengths of the country she has travelled. We wish Charlotte all the success with her career.

How did you get into pageants?

I was scrolling through Star Now and saw one advertised. I thought it would be a good experience for my career.

I signed up and turns out, I was right. The confidence, camera experience and over all worth ethic has helped me become more comfortable in front and behind the camera.

It was so long ago now since winning in 2019. Do you remember what you did to prepare for the 2019 UK finals?

For the finals I tried my absolute hardest to cram in appearances and promote the system despite only having a month to prepare.

Was this your first time competing?

It was my first time competing Crown & Glory. I had previously competed in the 2018 and 2019 heats of Miss Earth England and had come away with the water and fire titles in the teen category.

What made you choose Crown & Glory Pageants?

The motto made me select Crown & Glory Pageants. At the time I was really struggling to figure out who I was due to health reasons. Looking at the C&G motto 'Believe in yourself. Be you' really made me think that the system was a supportive environment and one that I wanted to be apart of.

You've had a really long reign with Covid. How have you found representing Crown & Glory pageants?

Oh my gosh where do I start! I have been so incredibly honoured to be able to promote the system for this long. Crown & Glory really has become such a huge part of my life that I can't really imagine not being one of their queens. I have loved every second of it!

What moments since 2019 are you most proud of?

I  think my most proud moments have to be flawless photoshoot and my first appearance as a UK queen.

They were my first time doing something out of my comfort zone and representing C&G was a huge responsibility. I loved them!

Do you have any advice for those looking to choose a pageant or interested in entering first time?

Take risks! Entering a pageant is still a bit of a risky thing, especially for areas of the country where pageants aren't common.

Don't think about what people will say, be proud of yourself and know that you will never go back once you're in.

If you had the opportunity would you compete in Crown & Glory Pageants again?

Definitely!

I signed up to compete again for the European title in the Teen division in 2020 but with Covid, it means it has carried over to the Miss Category. Now that I am 19 I am really excited to be competing with the other Miss contestants for the first time; even as I am handing over my title after 3 years; I just don't want to leave.

Do you have any words of wisdom to those competing in the 2022 European finals this August?

Have fun! Winning is amazing but the support system and the confidence rush you get is indescribable.

The finals only come once a year, enjoy the day to the fullest.
